THREE DECADES OF technological INNOVATIONS

1986

Our story begins at Christmas 1986 with Pascal PLUCHARD, Founding Chairman of the Group with the acquisition of Reliures Brun.

1988 - 1989

In order to complete the BRUN Bookbinders offering, the group is expanding into 6 factories : Imprimerie CLERC, AGM, RELIFAC, Imprimerie Jean LAMOUR, Ateliers BABOUOT, and TOURNAI- GRAPHIC in Belgium.

We then have 25 offset printing presses and 14 binding chains on nearly 100,000 m2 of workshops

1997 Worldwide Innovation
An important moment in the Group’s life: implementation of a revolutionary technological innovation that the Americans and Japanese will then copy from us. "Star 2000" was the world's first industrial binding line to include sewing at the time.
Its inauguration in 1997, will be orchestrated by Jacques WAGNON in the presence of Mr. and Mrs. BRUN as well as many professionals of the Book coming from several continents.
